Bakjourskurs inom Öron- Näs och Halssjukdomar | Helsingborg | 20-22 maj 2026
Kursbeskrivning
Kursen riktar sig till färdiga specialister inom ÖNH som antigen är eller kommer att inta bakjoursrollen. Under kursen tas det upp ett flertal olika ämne där fokus kommer att ligga på diskussion kring det mer utmanande och ovanliga som kan inträffa, med andra ord det som en primärjour konsulterar sin bakjour om.
Kursen grundar sig på teori, patientfall, interaktiv diskussion och vissa praktiska övningar. Luftvägsskopiövning ingår inte och för det hänvisas till andra kurser.

This is a meeting being held under the auspices of Turkish Society of Otolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery.

Highlights of the course include:
- A full day of lectures delivered by renowned national and international experts, including Prof. Michael Koch from Erlangen University, Germany. The day will also feature roundtable discussions and live surgical demonstrations.
- A second day dedicated to hands-on cadaver dissection, using five fresh-frozen cadaver heads (fully equipped), with a maximum of four attendees per unit to ensure an optimal learning experience.

Den 30:e september – 2:a oktober ges den första avancerade nordiska temporalbenskursen i samarbete mellan otokirurger från Sverige, Finland, Danmark, Norge och P. Olander Medica AB. Kursen riktar sig till ÖNH-specialister verksamma inom otokirurgi. Under tre dagar varvas praktiska övningar med kortare teoretiska föreläsningar.

9th edition of the Otology Class for Young ENTs | 27-28 February 2026 | Lisbon, Portugal
Otology Class for Young ENTs will be held in Lisbon, Portugal from 27 to 28 February 2026, and is designed specifically for young ENT specialists and residents with a strong interest in otology. The course will have an international faculty and will be hosted by Professor Pedro Escada, the Head of Department of ENT at Hospital de Egas Moniz, ULSLO and the new President of the Portuguese ENT Society SPORL.

Advanced Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery Course | Columbus, Ohio | 16-18 april 2026
Responding to the increased familiarity with endonasal endoscopic skull base surgery, we have modified the program to start at a higher level of expertise, and to promote discussions related to treatment algorithms of specific diseases. However, we recognize the value of refreshing basic concepts; and that our course caters to participants with a variety of levels of training and experience. Therefore, we will provide the participants with a series of video-lectures and video-prosections to fulfill these needs (Foundational Course). This video-lecture series will allow the participants to enjoy the benefits of both a traditional lecture-style course based on anatomic and technical concepts, and a course with a new interactive format emphasizing decision-making and disease-oriented discussions. Participants will in fact enroll in two courses, a home study course and the hands-on course.
The course comprises:
1. Foundational Course video-lectures addressing the basic principles of endoscopic skull base surgery, anatomy of the sinonasal tract and skull base, and basic surgical technique and instrumentation. These will be provided to registered participants, as the program will start at a level that presumes familiarity with these principles.
2. Anatomical prosections.
3. Laminated dissection manual
4. Sequence of complementary didactic lectures, round tables and panel discussions (open format with audience participation), 3-D anatomical reviews and hands-on cadaveric dissection.
5. Live surgery will be transmitted directly to the auditorium where the participants may interact with the surgeons and other members of the faculty.

Ultraljud i huvud/halsregionen VI |Trollhättan | 1-2 april 2026
Det övergripande målet för kursen är att ge deltagarna grundläggande teknik för ultraljudsundersökning i huvud-, halsregionen, kunskap om möjliga användningsområden i den kliniska vardagen och att möjliggöra fortsatt egenutbildning inom området. Undervisningen är fördelad mellan teoretiska föreläsningar, praktiska demonstrationer och egen, praktisk träning där deltagarna, i grupper om tre under handledning undersöker unga, friska frivilliga. Tonvikt kommer läggas på systematisk undersökningsteknik och landmärken vid ultraljudsundersökning av halsens mjukdelar. Deltagarna kommer få en förståelse för ultraljudsmedierad karaktärisering och värdering av lymf-, och stora spottkörtlar, systematisk klassificering av tyreoideaförändringar samt teknik för ultraljudsledd finnålspunktion.
